What I have been Working on

I usually work on multiple projects at one time because when I make frames, it is done in stages.  I made another doily bowl.  I put 2 avocados and a tomato in it so you can get an idea of the size.  As soon as the avocados are ripe, I will cut up 3 tomatoes, 3 avocados and a head of radicchio for my lunch salad.  I never put dressing on it, I love the flavors together and the juice from the tomatoes keeps it from being too dry.

Then I found bronze Victorian hardware that looks like a flower so I made it into a necklace with antique brass plated chain:

Here is the mirror I am working on, I decided to go bolder:

New Idea

I found various information about making vintage doilies into bowls and other  holders for say pens, flowers, etc. I love elegant vintage (1880s -1935) so of course I had to try it.   This one can hold coins, keys or a battery operated votive candle.  Isn't the one picture cool with the candle in the dark?
Note:  NOT water friendly!!!!.
